As someone who occasionally struggles with falling asleep, Unisom SleepGels have become my go-to. The design of the gels is perfect—they are small, smooth, and incredibly easy to swallow, a major plus for me. The functionality is exactly what I need; I take one and within about 30 minutes, I feel a gentle sense of drowsiness that helps me drift off without a fight. I wake up feeling rested without any of that groggy feeling some other sleep aids can cause. For the value for money, they are excellent. A single box lasts a long time, and they work just as well as more expensive brands. They are also a great size for keeping in my travel bag for when I'm on the road. Read more

I love these. Was working 12 hour midnites then switched to 12 hour day shift. My sleep schedule was royally f'd. But these work within 20 or 30 minutes and I don't feel groggy In morning like i do if i take melatonin. I like these better then melatonin because melatonin gives me eerily weird dreams but these do not. Read more

After decades of taking Ambien every night, I began to react to it differently. It seemed more potent and I was sleepy during the day so I decided to stop taking it, fighting the strong urge to go back to bed. I switched to take Tylenol PM Extra Strength, but then I wondered if there was something with just the sleep ingredient without the Tylenol (which I didn't need because I wasn't experiencing pain). I checked to see what the sleep aid was and then searched Amazon to see if there is a product that has just that one ingredient. The search brought me to a lot of options but I chose Unisom because of the combination of good reviews, affordable price, quick delivery, and it's a company I trust. However, after I ordered it I did some research on the sleep aid that's in it: Diphenhydraine -- the generic name for what, it turns out, is marketed under the brand name Benadryl. I take Benedryl for my allergies so I always have a supply on hand. I never noticed it made me sleepy, so I decided to cancel my order for the Unisom Sleep Gels for both reasons (not sleepy from taking a pill with the same ingredient and because I already had Benedryl in my medicine cabinet. But I was unable to cancel the order because it was being prepared for shipment. I decided to take the Unisom pill just to see if it did help with sleep. It has double the Diphenhydraine that's in Benedryl. Result: it did help me fall asleep, but I woke up every couple of hours. I'd never experienced that before. I was able to fall back asleep quickly each time I woke up, but I would rather find something that would give me uninterrupted sleep for about eight hours. Tylenol PM did that, plus a couple hours more at times. I ordered Unisom SleepTabs. Its active ingredient is Doxylamine Succinate -- something I never tried before, but will be taking it for the first time tonight to see how it compares to the other Unisom pills and to Tylenol PM. I found warnings that this differs from Diphenhydramine because the sleepiness may remain the next day (probably because it moves through the body at a different rate than Diphenhydramine, but that's just a guess). I want to find out if that's a problem for me. If it does help me fall asleep without waking me up several times during the night, it will be the one I choose. If not, I'll go back to Tylenol PM because it really works. Read more
