I bought this for my pups Garmin Pro550 collar as a replacement for the original worn out two year old one. I decided to go with the orange color because I live in an area where hunting is common. I always have my pup wear more orange when in a major season, and most hunters know my pup, but I wanted to keep orange on her year round as a precaution. The collar is long to fit different sized dogs, and I decided to keep it at full length so that there would be an extra 'tuft' of orange. The collar is a nice bright blaze orange with a grey reflective stripe. The stripe reflects nicely with a flashlight or headlights, but does seem like it will likely wear out before the orange material does. All in all this is a very nice collar, especially at the price.
