I bought this for my pups Garmin Pro550 collar as a replacement for the original worn out two year old one. I decided to go with the orange color because I live in an area where hunting is common. I always have my pup wear more orange when in a major season, and most hunters know my pup, but I wanted to keep orange on her year round as a precaution. The collar is long to fit different sized dogs, and I decided to keep it at full length so that there would be an extra 'tuft' of orange. The collar is a nice bright blaze orange with a grey reflective stripe. The stripe reflects nicely with a flashlight or headlights, but does seem like it will likely wear out before the orange material does. All in all this is a very nice collar, especially at the price. I put it on a labradane(very large dog), with a training devise. Worked great!!! The cheap plastic buckles on the boxed training sets are too easily broken, and guess what? They loose the training devise with the black cheap collar. This bright orange collar can be easily seen and retreaved should he scratch open the buckle,which would be difficult.
