My state just passed a new law on hand-free phone use, so I knew I needed a way to secure phones and keep them out of driver's hands (plus now we can use Google maps more easily). My teenaged daughter was all excited when I showed this to her as she loved the bedazzled look, and that this would hold her phone (with a pop socket stuck on the back) without issues in the Prius she drives. This was marketed as a universal mount, and with multiple vehicles I wanted to be sure it would work with all of them. We tried this first in our 2008 Prius and the vent louvers are too shallow for this to really grip and stay in place. The phone holder worked fine in our 2014 CR-V and in my '19 Civic, and I had no problems with this in our 2016 Rav4 even with vertical-style vents it has. Just be sure how deep the louvers are in your vehicle before purchasing this mount. I have a Samsung S25 Ultra which is one of the larger phones out there. This would work fine if I didn't have a thick, protective case, but it holds my kids' phones (not in thick, protective cases) just fine. So another thing to consider before ordering, make sure your case isn't too thick as the sides of this are designed to clamp your phone and there is a lip around the sides. Mounting this was pretty simple, there's a metal piece that sticks out of the back that you hook over one of your vent louvers, then tighten down the assembly so it's sitting against the vent face. Once mounted tightly it stays put quite well, even on gravel roads. It does sort of block the vent, but it's more of a redirect rather than a full block, plus during the summer that means cold air is blowing on the phone keeping it cool even while running maps on the screen and charging in the sunshine. My S24 ultra in a pretty slim fitting case did NOT fit in this holder, so I could not use it. Be aware of that if you have a similar sized phone. That being said, the build quality is also very cheap feeling and several of the rhinestones immediately fell off, so in my opinion this is absolutely not worth it. Read more

I ordered a similar-looking one from a different listing, and I hope this one would be better designed. It’s not. PROS -Cute -The back pieces that hold it to the vent appear to be very well-constructed. A lot of these types of phone holders have issues because they loosen and fall off the vent. I love this design, and think it will do great. -The blink isn't lacquered or anything, so I think it will fall off over time. CONS -The reason for my 2 stars is I don't think this will fit most phones. I have an iPhone 13 pro in a moderately protective case. I can barely squeeze it in left-to-right when the phone holder part is ALL the way open. As far as the front-to-back part of the phone holder, it doesn't fit that way at all.
