I purchased these to store men's Kilts and Highland wear. They work perfectly because the square top of the garment bag accommodates the wider than average Kilt hangers. This is a decent garment bag and good value for the price. The pockets with clear windows are convenient for storing soft shoes, tights, accessories, hairspray, and makeup, and there are enough that you can keep things fairly separated. Note that the bag zips open only along one side, so you do have to be careful sliding your costume in. If I were dealing with more expensive costumes, I would probably prefer a three-sided zip that allows me to place the dress in and then zip the bag back up around it. I will also be interested to see how the material holds up to travel. It's a bit plasticky, and while it's not like the fabric you'd see on a cheap drawstring bag, it's also not as robust as what you'd see on a backpack or a duffel bag. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I’m using this for my fashion program I’m in to store my final project this semester. The bag is a cheap material, so I would not overload it with weighted items. I don’t think the pockets can handle much either. If you need something heavier duty, maybe opt for a nylon bag instead. This will work for my specific needs. Read more
