At the time of this review I only used one replacement. I am assuming that all four are the same. These replacement heads are pretty much the same as the original. I used them for an Oral-B iO series 2, which is not listed in the seller’s Amazon information page. The Oral-B website identifies that the same brush head fits all the iO series. Why the seller does not mention series 2 is strange. It fits but is tighter than the original. It can be especially hard to take off. I suspect that has nothing to do with the series but may be a manufacturing difference in this aftermarket product. I am not sure of the claim of an “upgrade” or even being “ultra-soft” as stated by the seller. I found them soft but would not classify them as ultra-soft. Again, these are like the original, which I consider soft but not ultra-soft. I cannot say that they are an upgrade over the original. However, I am satisfied that they are very much the same as the original. Since they are a fine replacement and I cannot find anything wrong, I feel justified to rate them with five stars. I think the seller says too much about the product and is trying to make them into something more than what they are. Such rhetoric is not unusual for Amazon sellers and sometimes you just need to ignore the hype. Therefore, I am not taking the claims “upgrade” and “ultra-soft” seriously and not deducting because I do not agree with those claims. Read more
- I’m impressed that these come with a little cap to cover the actual brush! Even the Oral-B replacement heads don’t have that. - It fit on my toothbrush perfectly (I have the Oral-B series 7 toothbrush). They’re the same size and shape as the Oral-B replacement heads. - These are about than half the price of the actual Oral-B replacement heads for, in my opinion, a VERY similar product so I think it’s a great deal. The brush heads might be slightly more compact and not quite as stiff. - I have been buying the off brand replacement heads for a few months now and I think they last just as long and hold up the exact same as the Oral-B replacement heads. This also allows me to change out my toothbrush head more often, which I really think we should all be doing anyway. - When I first used one, I thought it made a slightly different sound than the Oral B ones, but I guess I got used to it because I don’t notice it anymore and it works the same. - Save some cash and buy these! Supposed to be very soft - they were not. Very cheaply made. Read more
We get these expensive toothbrushes, only to have to pay a fortune for the heads. I knew ahead of time the Phillips branded ones would be expensive, so I ended up buying it from the manufacture when there was a deal where I got extra replacement heads. Now that I am almost done with those, I am looking for alternatives. These seem to fit well, and function on the brush. Time will tell how well they hold up compared to the Phillips one, but the one difference I did notice is the quality. The plastic and the bristles are definitely cheaper, but I don’t think that will affect the cleaning quality. It will just affect how long they last. As long as I get three months out of them, I will be happy with these. As mentioned, they fit fine. They fit just as well as the OEMs. The bristles move the same way the Phillips one does. Overall, I am happy. Read more
First thing to note: the listing says both “3-pack” and “4-pack” in different spots, but I received four, so no complaints there. I ordered these because I was blown away by how expensive the OEM Oral-B brush heads are—just didn’t make sense to me. These definitely feel a little different. The fit is tighter than the originals; at first, I was nervous I’d break my toothbrush trying to push them on, but they do fit once you realize they’re just snug. The bristles aren’t quite as soft and don’t glide as easily over my teeth, but they still get the job done. For the price difference, I’m satisfied. I’ll probably shop around when it’s time to restock, but these are perfectly usable and I’ll go through the ones I bought. Read more
So much cheaper than official brushes, but they don’t work quite as well. I’ve always used generic brushes heads on my toothbrush, but switching to IO this is harder to come by due to how they are made. These work well enough but would alternate these with official brushes. They work better than manual but not as good as official brush heads. That said, you can’t beat the cost and it’s nice they are individually wrapped. I’ve only used one of the 4 but it works pretty well to clean my teeth. Read more
These are much better than other non oral b brush heads! They are packaged very nicely, individually wrapped and each has a hard plastic cover on it. Open first use, they are softer than other brands, but still in the medium category. They clean very well and do not make a lot of noise while using. They fit perfectly on my toothbrush and come off easily when cleaning! I will definitely be buying these in the future! Read more
