I got these nasal strips for running and working out, not sleeping. Wow - immediately after putting one on, my nasal cavities noticeably expanded and I took in a lot more air, and more effortlessly - I had no idea they'd been so restricted! These strips fit my nose/face shape perfectly (face is on the smaller side) and stayed on well when testing; they seem stronger than the leading brand's in terms of lifting up the nasal cavity and keeping it lifted, at least when I tried those many years ago (I recognize their product might have improved since then). I did wash my skin with soap and water before application, as directed. I can't speak to how long these will stay on after several hours of rigorous exercise and sweating, but the adhesive seems to stick well overall. In fact, it hurt, like my skin was getting ripped off, when I removed the first one after several hours, but in fairness, I didn't follow the directions to first soften the adhesive using a warm damp towel. I strongly recommend you do this, and also pull off in the direction of your hair growth, starting with the edges of the strip first; don't just yank it off like I initially did. On the downside, these noticeably off-gas, and I detected a strong chemical scent when opening the box even before I removed any from their individual packaging. The smell has yet to completely dissipate, even when wearing these in the open air. I don't love the idea of having such strong chemicals so close to my nose, especially now that it's breathing in even more of the surrounding air and fumes! Also, it's a pain to remove the second 'protective liner' on the strips. The first one is easy-peel as described, but the second one is not - problem could be solved with a tab or fold on the liner. The 30-pack box is currently overpriced at just under $16 (or ~$0.53/strip); the 120-pack, currently selling for ~$17.50 - $22 (~$0.15 - $0.18/strip), is much more reasonable. Read more

They are wide and stay on pretty well. However, my noes itches furiously right after I put one on and it makes me want to rip it off to scratch so badly. I’m sensitive to a lot of adhesives, however. Hasn’t left a rash or the stars would be lower. Not liking the beige color well either (I might try using at the gym) but I didn’t see other color choices. Read more

Overall at around the low-$20s for a 120-pack this is a good value and getting close to a great value when it’s closer to $20 for extra-strength anti-slip nasal strips for snoring and better breathing. These have a slightly stiffer feel than basic nose strips, and the 3 internal support bands really do a decent job of opening my nasal passages when I put them on correctly. The adhesive is strong and the anti-slip backing actually holds up through a full night of sleep without curling up at the edges or falling off, even if I roll around a bit. I’ve used them both at night and during light workouts and they’ve stayed put and helped my breathing feel more open, which is exactly what I wanted. The shape is fairly ergonomic and once they’re on, they’re comfortable enough that I kind of forget about them after a few minutes. On the flip side, that stronger adhesive can be a little aggressive if you have very sensitive skin, so I make sure to peel them off slowly and wash the area afterward. They’re also not a magic cure for every snoring issue – they help reduce snoring and stuffiness when my nose is congested, but I wouldn’t expect them to fix deeper sleep problems by themselves. Compared to name-brand strips that often cost more per strip for smaller packs, this 120-pack feels like solid value for everyday use as long as you’re okay with the stronger stick and toss them after single use.
