this ball is so fun and surprisingly sturdy!!! be careful using it on hard floors since depending on the mode, it'll start bouncing intensely and be really loud!! it rolls around on its own and my cat is obsessed with chasing it around. the motion is random enough to keep her guessing, and the battery lasts a good while. it's a great interactive toy for keeping pets busy. Bought this for the cats. Its noisy, so that's not so good for me. The cats are more afraid of it then anything. I like the idea of it., but in reality, not so much. Read more

This is a good cat toy because it moves about in a wide range of ways that intrigue my cats and they can chase it and interact with it without getting frustrated. It is well made and its charge lasts well, so they can play with it a long time before it needs to be recharged. It also is made so that they can't bit pieces off, so I feel it is safe for them in that regard. For a cat toy with present-day technology, this toy ball is a good choice. Read more

This ball did not come charged, and after charging did not want to be put back together. We were really excited to give it to our kitten, but we could never get the light up features to work with the ball closed up. Better instructions might be helpful. Read more

My cats love this! They were scared at first, now play with it like a challenge, trying to catch it! Then it stays still, they lay waiting, when the cats pounce it, it starts moving again! Stays charged for a really long time. So far it works great, seems well made, sturdy and durable enough for cats. Great toy to keep cats entertained for a good price 😺🐈⬛️🐈 Read more

This had the dogs interest until they picked it up. The super wiggly guts of this ball are strong and the vibration is so aggressive it shakes the heck out of their head and caused him to cut his tongue against his teeth in his mouth. Also, he had it in multiple pieces by the end of the day-somehow he got it twisted apart. Not a toy we will replace. Read more

This ball is hard. What do dogs do? They grab, mouth, bite, chew, ask you to throw and play fetch, and they slobber. This ball is not designed to endure that abuse. It moves around. It is fun. But first dog bite and it's damaged. This ball is better suited for cats. Now then, to turn the ball on, you unscrew it to expose the motor. The motor is a separate piece with a gear which fits into the cogs in the shell piece. Turn the motor on, screw the shell back together. The problem I'm having is trying to screw it back together while it's trying to move and do so without stripping the gears. And the instructions are darn near microscopic. Is paper so expensive now that they can't include instructions than a postage stamp? 1/22/25 ETA: I got this ball out again and couldn't get it to turn on. After a few minutes fiddling with it, I thought maybe it needed to be recharged. Plugged it in, green light. I left it on the charger for an hour anyway. When I tried again, it started. Idk. But this time my girl pup had a blast with the ball. She barked and barked and barked and wagged her tail and generally acted like she was enjoying pouncing near it but not physically engaging with the ball. She tried mouthing it once. I think the movement/vibration made her drop it. We had a fun 15-minute session and I put it away. Maybe I was too harsh on my initial review. I added a star. Oh, after turning it on, just hold it in your had until it stops moving, then you can screw the two halves back together without stripping the cogs. Read more
