The media could not be loaded. This is the first upholstery cleaner I have. I am happy to say that it is of good quality, well made. I looked at other units before buying this, i have to say I’m happy I chose this unit. I buy it to clean up pet accidents on my carpet. Think of it as a vacuum cleaner that can suction water. The way it works is You fill the clean compartment with clean water, turn on the unit, click on the button under the suction handle, it sprays water from the clean tank, and as you move the suction head over the carpet, it brushes the upholstery and sucks up the water on it. It is effective because the water in the dirty tank is so dark! Cleaning the unit takes a little care, you can see residue in the pipe, to clean it you have to adjust the head in different angles to suck up water from the sink. I wasn’t noticing the max mark in the dirty compartment when sucking up water from the sink, which resulted in some leak. Be sure to not pass that mark and you should be fine. Love this carpet cleaner, it's so small and light weight that i have no trouble pulling it out for small messes like cat hairballs. I also used it on our white chairs and it pulled out much more dirt then i expected, it's a powerful little vacuum. Great little vacuum! The vacuum is a decent size, not extremely big nor small. It is quite lightweight and I like that I can carry it around without any issues. It has a powerful suction, first you spray, and I usually let it sit just for a minute or two, then I let the suction do its job.
