It does clean the washer.. and for the price, is comparable to the leading cleaners. But don’t fall for the social media ads showing you the massive dirt foam being pushed out. I watched almost the whole cycle waiting to see what grime came out, and didn’t see anything different. I bought this Ultra version to help with pet hair. We have two dogs and I know our washer must have a huge collection of dog hair. But I didn’t see anything different from when I use the other cleaners. The washer was left clean and I don’t notice any mildew or dirty washer smells. For the price, not sure I would buy again. Used to buy Affresh tablets at Target and they were good until they weren’t. Found Uproot Clean through Instagram and had already purchased a different product that I love, so decided to try these. NEVER GOING BACK!!! These tablets get my washer sparkling clean, and unlike the previous brand, the wipe down when the clean cycle is done is so easy!! Everything comes right out, without much elbow grease. Cleans all the hoses and lines so well- when I drain my water inlet valves the water is full of all the gunk that used to be in my washer. Haven’t had any mold/mildew growth on my gaskets since using these- saying a lot when you have a front loader!! Also used to constantly have to clean the soap dispensing tray because of the mold & mildew that would accumulate- I never use my soap dispensing tray, so that was annoying. This product cleans so well I don’t have to touch it anymore. I still pull it out to check, but haven’t had to clean inside of it once!! Love these!
