This was exactly what I have been searching for! It is a slim-fitting, pencil skirt that successfully manages to marry stylishness with comfort. It is equally at home with being dressed up with a tailored blouse or dressed down with a tee and flats. The fabric is substantial, not a bit see-through. It lies smoothly on the curves. But it can be somewhat unforgiving over small bulges, so you might want to look into shape wear if you would like to have a small confidence boost about your silhouette. Another angle you might want to consider is ordering one size up. It’s unlikely to be too big, because the fabric has lots of give. The skirt is a pull-on so has no closures, meaning no zipper, buttons, snaps, etc. Fast on, fast off. If there is one criticism to be made, and it’s definitely very minor, it would be that the hem has no vent, and therefore relies on the give of the fabric, so that if you tend to walk using relatively large strides, it might impede you a bit. I can definitely feel a small degree of constraint. But if you take smaller steps, there will be no problem whatsoever. Just something to keep in mind. I ordered my normal size medium and it was so tight I could not pull it over my hips all of the way. The skirt is a beautiful color, and well- made from nice fabric, having a decent thickness and opacity. Unfortunately, the packaging was thrown away, making it impossible to return, so I am going to donate it. Since I cannot be sure whether or not this skirt normally runs very small in size, or this was a fluke, I don't think I will order another, larger size, but will instead order from a seller I do regular business with. Size small: I'm 5'4", 118 lbs. It looks nice but a size XS would fit better, but that's not available. It goes a little past my knees and its a little loose around my waste but it still stays up and shows my curves. The brown is "cool" not a warm brown. Good material, very versatile, not see through yet breathable; it's suitable to wear all year with little modification. I've worn it on a cold day with a fluffy white sweater and knee-high boots and on a warm day with a pink short sleeve blouse and gold kitten heels. I get compliments every time I wear this skirt.
