I think this is a GREAT bag! The jet black material is soft, silky, and quilted, creating a puffy design. It's comfortable to carry, due to its longer-than-average shoulder straps. It's durable and has the capacity to hold a fair amount of essentials. Another positive attribute is its straight and clean stitching all the way around. The exterior has 2 bottle or umbrella holders, located on the short ends of the bag. You could use these pockets to hold just about anything, actually. They would easily fit a phone, map, eyeglass or earbud cases, etc. If you're using this tote for a diaper bag, the side pockets would hold rolled up baby blankets, pacifiers, and other items of the sort. One long side of the tote has a zippered pocket that runs the length of the bag, but half its depth. The other side has a stretch of elastic that you slide over the handle of a rolling suitcase. Again, if using this for a diaper bag, you might be able to use the elastic to secure it to the handles of a stroller. The interior features numerous pockets, and a large open center. It also has a built-in sleeve for a small laptop or ipad, with a velcro strap to keep contents from falling out. The padding for that sleeve area doesn't provide any extra protection beyond the existing puffy quilt material on the exterior.
