Even though I am in the Army, I do have a lot of respect and love for my counterparts in the Marine Corps. Osprey books are excellent source of knowledge from equipment to day to day life of the Marine. Very in-depth and accurate. Looking at the growth of the Marine corpses, so much has changed in the fighting force since the days before 9/11. Read more
You can't beat the price for a grossy page book with excellent color images throughout detailing all of the grunt's gear. Even camo patterns are covered. I have this as an ebook but wanted the print version for reference. Very nice and it delivers. Osprey Publishing is excellent in this genre. Read more

It is pretty thin book like 20-30 pages (I forgot). Each page has pictures of equipment, camo pattern description etc I only wish they are twice more pictures. I would say it worth $8.99 Read more
The book was true to its title. There was mention of SF gear but very brief. There were more changes than expected and the book tracks them well and all the details. Read more
