I just bought a new iPad (10th generation) and the only cable it comes with is a USB-C to USB-C. Unfortunately, my iMac (which isn't that old) does not have any USB-C ports on it. It has the "standard" USB ports that have been been the norm for years. So I wasn't able to connect my iPad to my computer with the included cable. I have several USB-2 or USB-3 to USB-C charging cables -- all of which have been included with various electronics I've bought such as Fire tablets, Ring devices, etc. However, I learned that they are sufficient for charging an iPad, but don't allow for data transfer to/from the iPad. I wasn't 100% positive that this cable would support data transfer speeds suitable for syncing my iPad with my computer, but took a chance -- and it worked. If you have a new iPad and want to connect it to a computer with older USB ports, this is the cable for you!!! Read more

Something as simple as a charging cable doesn't often get passionate or fun reviews, here's my attempt to change that... This USB C charging cable is a darn-tootin technological marvel. It's like a slithering serpent of pure energy, slithering its way into the depths of your controller, injecting it with the raw electrical power of the cosmos. I use it for my Dualsense controller connected to my Windows PC, but it'll shoot that juice into any USB C controller attached to any system. Plus, this pack comes with not just 1, but a whopping 2 controller cords! You can keep the extra as a backup or give it to your best gaming friend or family member. The only thing that could be improved upon, I think, is it is a little short. I sit at a desk with the computer just a little ways away and I often find myself wishing there was another foot or even 2 added on the cord. I had to take 1 star off for that. In all seriousness though, Id recommend this charging cable to any degenerate gamers like myself who want to keep their controller juiced up and ready for action. I also appreciate that it transfers data as well as charges, so you can use it for transferring files from you smart phone to a computer or similar tasks. Some cables i've gotten in the past have not held up well, but these cables seem like they are better quality than most i've had.
