This is a new review. I have it for MacBook Air for two months. Perfect.!!
This device working perfectly now. Been two minutes maths. And I realize I can take MacBook around house and not take the charging cord that came with MacBook Air. I use the adapter to charge it from a c cord around the house which I have set up in each room for my new phone and iPad. O see charging on the MacBook screen. Playing music after I learned how to connect the music app with the messed up music folders I made on iTunes over 10 years ago. Finally got it to load from my old iMac computer. Something even the Apple advisors thought would not work after migration failed. But I found my WiFi network did what hooking both computers up together would not recognize the new computer. The network did. And I reset up my music folders so music would work and import the library. Did not take playlist which I had to do myself. However better than using a dvd to reinstall all my favorite disks. Anyhow for any of you having same problem because Apple had to change a perfect ITunes application and make their Apple Music app more for renting their cds. Angry about that. But any good WiFi system connected to internet will restore if you have saved your library. You need to find the folders. Anyhow what I wanted to do was say this adapter once Apple accepts it has no problem. And I have a 2025. MacBook Air. Worth for price I use the connector for the display and have a older lg display. That had many different receptacles in back. I like that I can carry the computer into another room with dragging a wire. If you use a cover to carry for work. Do not bother. The USB’s A’s also work. And so did SD chip did after several tries. Mac OS always very temperamental with new products attached. Nothing new. It has to agree to everything. Worse than newer cars. Especially if it’s not one of their products. Anyhow wrote this to give it a chance and make sure it’s tight. When I was pulling it out to return I had trouble. It is tight. Mistakenly pushed it back into in and Apple came up with “ do you want to accept devise. I said yes. And that was that. It works. If you want to take it out and in I would be afraid of that. Suggest you get single plug and wired ones. I am afraid of breaking connector. I never trusted the c plugs. I had one bad one on a 1 years iPad Pro. Cheaper to buy another one than have Apple fix it. Never had problem with original lightning connector even before they had magnetic charging. Read more
