I ordered this because I really wanted a faster USB access for faster charging. DISCLAIMER: I read the manufacture info and it said that it is not recommended for using it for charging, but I used it to charge a vape pod. The 3.0 port at the tip of this unit did exactly that and works extremely well and fast. It did not cost very much at all, so it was a great deal for the money to have 4 USB ports on 1 hub that goes into my MacBook by USB-C. One of the ports supports the mouse dongle. It is compact if I travel as my MacBook is slim. If I require extra USB-C ports, I held onto my old hub, but I rarely used those except for a DVD player which I just use the tv for now. Read more

I got this to replace another USB-C to USB a dongle that accidentally got pulled out of the side of my laptop and bent/broken. This one works really well, but sometimes I have to unplug the device and plug it back in to have it registered. It may be more of a testament to my USB ports on my work laptop. All in all, a good product. I wish it had ethernet or HDMI built-in, but still, it works as intended most of the time. Read more

I bought this as a keyboard/mouse hub to switch between my PC and Macbook by plugging into whichever I need to use at the moment. Electronically, only 3 of the 4 ports work on the PC, the other shows me a system message saying "Unrecognized device...". The Macbook does not see any input at all, although I can tell there is power going to the mouse because the LED lights up. Physically, the connections are all very tight. I worry that regular plugging/unplugging could damage the computer ports over time. Read more
