This KEIUYUKI USB-C Hub 3.0 Splitter with 4.9ft Extension Cable is a solid hub for adding extra peripherals. I am using it for my mouse, keyboard, and USB headphone dongle to my laptop while working at my desk, and up to now it has performed just as expected. I also used the extra port to hook up a USB drive from time to time and I have had no issues with that either. I will note that I was not able to charge a set of small USB headphones off of the hub, which is not surprising since there is no external power source. I also don't have a setup to test out the high speed capability of the hub by connecting a fast hard drive or SSD to it. But for basic connectivity this is a good product. Recommended. Read more

This hub is great because it has a long extension, if your computer is on the floor or far from where external items would be that require USB. It's lightweight, but can be mounted. Note that these ports are USB 3 and aren't really designed for being used as chargers. You plug this into one USB port on the computer and this gives you 4 ports to use - so the power is split. If you have one thing plugged in, it will can use all the power. If you use all 4 ports, then that power is split between them. So it's most useful for small USB thumb drives or items that don't draw a lot of power. If you're using this as a power bank, it's not going to be as fast as a dedicated USB power bank. But if used as what it's designed for, it works well. 5 stars because of the extension functionality and works well with multiple devices for data transfer. Read more
This is a very basic, unpowered USB hub, but the extra long cable, makes it very useful to me. Because it is powered by the computer, the total amount of power the hub can use, is limited to what the computer's usb can put out. I've been using this for almost a month, and so far, I haven't experienced any problems. If you need a basic hub, with an extra long cord, then I think this one will do you well. I keep a small computer on my workbench, but because it's a workbench, I don't want my computer taking up my space, where my gear should go (I'm an electronics tech). So, my computer is tucked away in a corner, where I can't easily reach it. That's where this USB hub comes in. The extra long cord, allows me to put the usb hub in a place where I can easily reach it. I currently have it just hanging by the cord, but I may attach it to my shelf with a piece of double-sided tape. Read more
