This is clearly not USB 3.0, this closely gets the same transfer rate and bandwidth as you would get with USB 2.0. There is an additional input for power which resembles other cheap rebrands around on different online retailers - maybe this is needed to get the full speed/bandwidth out of the device but as it stands most i was able to get was 425 mb/s which renders it useless for me. After further inspection i have concluded that 1/7 ports are USB 3.0 and 6/7 are USB 2.0. This is very deceptive marketing on their part and i do not recommend you buy this device. I have added 2 additional photos showing that the top port(closest to the wire leading out) is 3.0 which is 9-pin vs. the usb 2.0 ports which are 4 pin. Item is not as specified from the seller, i have not taken this device apart since i intend on returning it but i am sure this is low quality item as even pressing the on/off switches does not inspire confidence.
