Your Co-workers Might Chip In for a Better Microphone

SNR was measured and found to be about 19 dB, making it pretty much unusable for me (or anyone). I don't have a noisy room, however, in order to have enough gain to hear my voice, despite a distance of less than 3 feet between my face and the mic position, I had to turn the digital gain way up. The noise came up with it, and I sounded like a reporter on the street trying to give a weather status while standing in a hurricane. Really unfortunate try-after-you-buy test. At 11 bucks, I'm just going to call it a lesson learned, as opposed to trying to return it. My value for money? Zero. Except for the quality of play being unusable, the plug-and-play was flawless - plug it in and, BOOM, unusable audio. Read more
