I adore this jacket! I got the pale blue denim, and liked it so much I ordered the black denim. The style is so flattering with a cinched waist and it's comfortable because there is a good stretch to the fabric. I would say the fit runs large. I found that the medium is best for me as I usually wear a size 12 jacket. I'm 5 foot 6, 140 pounds, 34DD. There was no odd smell at all. I'm very happy them both and wish there were more colors. This is a super cute blazer!!! It is made of very soft material that looks like denim but is much softer than regular denim. I ordered a small and it fit perfectly. The double breasted style is really classic and the gold buttons set it off and make it very stylish. It would work extremely well with jeans or with dress pants. It is tailored but not over done and so it will be very versatile for many kinds of events - from work to church to lunches. It is nice and warm but not too warm. I found this denim blazer by utcoco to be really cute and a nice cut. The denim has the right amount of weight and thickness to hold its shape as a blazer. Too often I have ordered blazers and it's a stretchy knit with no structure to it. Not this one and it has shoulder pads. The buttons aren't too bad either. As for fit, as others have noted, it does run a bit large. I wear it belted to make it more fitted so it's not too much of an issue for me. I honestly feel it looks better belted anyway. The sleeve length though is another question. Definitely too short so I wear it with the sleeves pushed up. I ordered the XS and I am 5'10, 120 lbs, 31-25-34 for reference. Read more

I like this blazer and love denim anything, but it is very fitted and I wish I had ordered a L. Amazon recommended a M so I went with that, but I wish it was a little bigger. The size chart, which lists three different products all show a bust of over 42" for size M, and I am 38" so there should be a little more give. That being said, I can still wear it, I just won't be able to do much layering. The sleeves are just at my wrist so if you have longer arms, it could be too short. I do like the styling and the fabric is a nice heavier weight denim. For reference, I am 5'7" and 148 lbs. Read more
