This is a nice cooling system. Keep in mind you cannot set the cooling temp. The lowest temp. I could get was 74°. My kitchen really heats up when I'm working in there. I do like the swinger so the air is not constantly blown on me. It's easy to set up, use and move around. Read more

This item has many favorable reviews. I did my research before placing the order. So I was truly surprised when the cooler did such a terrible job of...cooling! I put it together, set it up in a 12X12 ft bedroom, filled it with water and added two ice packs as per directions. I selected the cool setting with fan set to medium. I closed the door behind me and came back two hours later to find that the temperature in the room had actually gone UP. (The unit displays the room temperature). I can't imagine I did anything wrong. It's really not that complicated. But as fas as I can tell, this item is, in fact, useless and a waste of time and money. Read more

It does cool but requires constant ice packs to stay cool. Every hour it needs new ice packs so you’ll need like 8 sets for an 8 hour day. They go warm after short time. If you can do that it does cool. I just found it too high maintenance. Read more

We bought this unit out of desperation. The summer if 2025 has been brutally hot and humid, and my husband has lung disease. We do not have A/C and fans weren't enough. This looked like an interesting alternative. The unit is well made, substantial and easy to assemble and move around on wheels. The unit is about 18" wide and 30" high. Fill it with water, place the frozen packs in the reservoir, plug it in and turn it on. Voila! Cool air streams out! We use it in our bedroom on hot nights and it definitely makes sleep easier. There is a variety of settings, a timer and a remote. The noise is a little less than a window A/C unit; it's tolerable and worth the more comfortable air flow, especially at night. This is a decent and reasonable alternative to air conditioning for single rooms and we are more than satisfied with it. Read more

Please note: If you're looking for something that will cool an entire room and keep it chilly during the summer months, this is NOT the product for you. Your money will be better spent buying an air conditioner. This is exactly as its advertised: it's a cooling fan that's meant to cool you down, especially if you want cool air blowing towards you while watching TV or working at your desk. Why I bought it: I work from home and have a small home office. In years past, I've put an air conditioner in the window while I'm working at my desk. Unfortunately, air conditioners tend to be noisy and often cause the electricity bill to skyrocket. Never mind that my home office is tiny and tends to get too cold with an air conditioner in the window. This year, I wanted to keep cool and comfortable at my desk while keeping the electricity bill manageable. However, I didn't want a traditional fan because they tend to recirculate warm air. Why I love this fan: 1) Easy setup 2) Simple user interface 3) Keeps me cool all day 4) It has wheels so that it can be moved from room to room very easily Directions: Add three gallons of water in the top reservoir which fills the tank at the bottom. Place two ice packs in the top reservoir and close the lid. (Four ice packs included.) Turn the fan on, select the desired speed, select "Cool" and within a few minutes, cool air begins to circulate. (The lowest temperature that I've seen the fan achieve so far is 70 degrees.) How it works: The water from the bottom tank circulates to the top reservoir where the ice packs are and pours back into the tank below. The constant circulation of the cold water is what helps to cool the air from the fan. Pro tip: Change the water once a week. There's a spout located at the bottom to the rear of the fan. Why you may not like it: on extremely hot days, you may wind up switching out the ice packs after 4-5 hours. Hopefully, this helps with your decision making process. Read more

It does not work that well. And now it has a moldy smell and only had it 2 1/2 months. Stinks up the whole room when you turn it on. Whether you have water in it or not. Whoever made this probably didn’t let it have enough ventilation so when the water gets poured in there and just sits there it turns to mold, which mold is very bad for you.! Ugh. I would not recommend! I lost all my money on this because it’s past the 30 days. Ugh Read more

I was so excited to recieve my portable "air conditioner". It was small and said it cooled up to 350 square feet for 12 hours without having to add water. So not true! My studio is 350 square feet and only cools air right in front on you and you have to fill it with water anout 6 hours at the most. Truly not what I expected. Save yout $$ and buy a bigger one . This is only gives out slightly cool air. Do not purchase! Read more

I bought this item after carefully reviewing comments and identifying the needs of our 2 bedroom condo. This item is an air cooler and not an air conditioner which usually has a refrigerant. The cooler uses ice and water which we find convenient since we don’t have to vent through a window. This far we are satisfied with the functionality of it. It may not be sufficient for larger area rooms but works well for smaller rooms. It’s also relatively quiet. Would recommend this if you’re looking for a ventless room cooler.
