I purchased this in February 2024 and loved it. Does everything as described and appears good quality. However, it is now January 2025 and it is completed covered in mildew/mold. I have cleaned it several times but it returns full force almost immediately and is partially so absorbed in the wood it won’t even clean off. I kept this placed on my tub on the opposite side of the faucet. It remained completely dry except for occasional drops that would occur with normal use. It never fell in the tub, was not placed under a stream. Stayed perched atop in a relative dry space. My bathroom is well ventilated - actually have two vents, one of which is directly above the tub. I have had caddies like this in the past and did not have this issue. After less than one year of use, I have to toss this one and buy another. Perhaps this is to be expected? I was surprised.
