Upon lighting it, I was transported back to my 7th grade summer vacation- a week of freedom and fun in San Clemente for preteen me. It has a floral musk that is strong but not overpowering, with that surprisingly strong "magazine" scent in the background. It's such an intangible smell, but you know it when you smell it. That unique element you smell in a hotel lobby, dentist's waiting room, church office, or your middle school admin room with the huge printer that always ran hot. The candle itself is housed in a beautiful glass jar (definitely fragile) and is packaged and presented beautifully. The burn time seems rather short for me, and the overall size of the candle is a bit deceptive. While tall, it's very narrow, so ration wisely for maximum enjoyment. I'd love a larger size. This review is on the lobby candle. It describes the candle as being floral fresh floral and ocean breeze. This candle is completely 100% all sandalwood. If you hate sandalwood as much as I hate sandalwood, do not purchase this candle. I was deceived because again it says fresh cut floral. I was thinking gardenias and fresh lobby floral smell. There was no mention of sandalwood. This candle is literally a sandalwood candle. There’s no other scent involved. Read more

They deserve a star all their own.) smells divine, with a mix of ocean breeze, tropical island vibes, and a freshly cleaned vacation suite. It has a warmth and freshness to the scent that is quite pleasant and neutral enough to burn in any space. We're burning ours in the kitchen. And man, this is the little candle that could. It has some longevity behind it. We've been burning it for heading on 65 hours, with more to go, which is right on par with its listed burn time. Being that it's a larger candle, it's an okay value, burn-time-wise.
