THIS IS AN UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: I did install as directed without the disks, but on the first day the soap dish and the toothbrush holder both started falling off the wall within 6 hours, I would clean again with alcohol, replace or relocate and retighten but they did keep falling off about every 4 – 6 hours. I was so upset because I really like them I contacted the seller and they offered full refund but I LIKED THE ITEM SO MUCH I DECIDED TO TRY THE 3M INSTALLATION DISK THAT CAME WITH THE SOAPDISH before I returned item, I am so glad I did! I watched the video, cleaned the wall, decided exactly where I wanted it, installed the disk , waited 12 hours as directed then attached the soap dish on Dec. 21. it is now Dec. 30 and I have not had to retighten , not even a little bit, and the soapdish, HAS NOT FALLEN OFF NOT EVEN ONCE!!!!! I thought my wall was smooth enough and wouldn’t need the disk, but evidentially it did need the disk, try the 3m disk, before you give up, it’s worth it. Note: make sure you choose exactly where you want it because the disk is not reusable if you remove it. You can however, purchase replacement 3m disk if needed . I like the soap dish and toothbrush so much that I may by another one of there items for in my tub surround. I purchased this to go with my Hasko toothbrush holder. I based my purchase on other customers reviews, obviously there were a few people who were not satisfied , but I am completely satisfied. I read the instructions a couple of times to make sure I would do it exactly right the first time. I removed the knob to make sure that the black suction cup was completely flat as directed and to make sure the sot was at the bottom of the cup/backplete. After deciding where I wanted the soap dish, I placed the suction cup with the backplate/cup over it, making sure that the slot was at the bottom, inserted the metal part of the soap dish into the slot. I put the know back on and while applying pressure to the cup/backplate and pushing in on the knob to create a vacuum, I turned the know until it was tight. Put the plastic part in the wire holder and it looks really nice, seems to be a very strong hold, of course time will tell. At this point in time I am very satisfied with my purchase. I forgot to mention this was on smooth tile board, that I cleaned with alcohol, made sure it air dried prior to installation, I did the same with the toothbrush holder. It looks nice and seems to be pretty well made. It has good suction and stays put (has been up for 5 months). I Just wish it had a drain hole in the bottom so it wasn't necessary to pop the dish out all the time to remove the water. Read more

This wall mounted dish holder goes great and installs easily with the suction cup and additional plate for tile installation. The self-draining feature is great for keeping the soap dry. It sticks very well on the wall after turning the suction mechanism on tight and it will not be falling off. It is a good value for the price. Read more

I’m glad I got it. —————- Exactly as mentioned and I expected. Great suction, I have it for 2weeks now and it hasn’t moved or fallen. It was free shipping & arrived very fast. Amazing thing was the seller emailed me the next day with instructions! Great customer service & support. The instructions came with the product in the box, with pictures, so it was very easy. I did not use any adhesive on my tile. Just cleaned with alcohol and put on. I needed a soap tray that was mobile, above waist level, and not drip. This was perfect. I have a 9oz large soap and it carries the weight. The soap is bigger than the tray but it’s not a big deal. I can move the soap to my sink by carrying the white plastic tray out of the silver holder, and back. My only problem is that the tray needs both hands to open and dump water out. I carry this big soap in one hand (I don’t want to put it down) so it’s difficult to drain the water with one hand. Also, there is little space between soap dish and the knob. My soap is big but even if you have smaller soap, it’s still in the way. It’s a minor problem. Otherwise I’m happy with my purchase, I’m glad I bought this. Read more
