Had to get a last minute dress for a friend’s wedding and Amazon came through hunny!!! The dress is long! I had on probably a 4 inch heel and still had to hold the dress up to walk. I’m short (4”11) so the split was at a good spot. Dress was comfortable and it was nice style for the occasion. I ordered a large and it was very form fitting. Ordered in my usual sizing. But the neckline was almost loose. I was afraid I would have to use body tape to keep the sleeeves in place. Orders a size down (L) and it fits great! The fabric is light and has a lot of give. Once you place the crossing patterns along the bust in place it looks amazing. The shape and cut are perfect and it will still be long even with heels. My daughter wore this beautiful dress to her winter formal dance. She looked stunning. She got so many compliments. The fabric was thin and stretchy. but because it was black it wasn't see through. She wanted a train which it had. It's pretty long but she wanted it that way. The slit is on the side but that didn't bother her. She did wear pretty high stoledos with it. And it was still long. She had to kind of hold her dress when walking. It was perfect form fitting. I would say true to size. If you went a size down for her I think it would be too tight. She's 5'3 and about 180 pounds. For the most part her arm sleeves stayed in place. she said when dancing she had to pick them up a couple times but nothing, to wear she was annoyed. Good product for the price. I purchased this dress as a backup for an event, so the pictures are of me, trying it on with great undergarments. The dress is beautiful with a lot of stretch. It is long even with hills, but manageable. The bosom is on display, but very tasteful and covered. The dress has so much stretch that The zipper wasn’t necessary. The material is lightweight and thin, but not cheap and quality. I would’ve worn this to performing. It definitely will show all of your curves and good undergarments are a must. Beautiful dress! I wore it to a Shrine Gala. I am very short, 5’3” and it is too long. I just held it up as I walked and it wasn’t too much trouble. I did sew the slit so that it wasn’t so high as I felt uncomfortable with it being above my knee. It is VERY clingy but I think it “clings” in the right places. :) I am a size large and ordered a large. Be careful with the jewelry you choose as it does snag very easily. Read more
