I bought these cotton swabs to add to my gun cleaning kit. Much tighter wrap than normal q-tips so you don't get fibers stuck on internal parts. Longer stick helps get into hard to reach spots. Convenient 100 count zip lock style bags make restocking easy. Highly recommend. Read more
Cotton tips are a little hard but guess they are supposed to be seeing as they are supposed to be applicators not cotton swabs. The applicators I bought before these were not as hard tho and honestly a little softer helps when cleaning guns. Helps the cotton tip to mold to tight corners. The wooden dowels can break easily too but think that's the same with most wooden cotton tip applicators. Holding it closer to the cotton tip helps them not to break. Still work great for cleaning guns and the best value. If you buy 100 at a time it would end up costing much more and I burn through a lot of them quick anyways. Read more

I purchased these extra long Q-Tips for the AR15. They work great and my husband was thrilled at the more durable wooden stick rather than a rolled cardboard-ish one. You can put a little more "oumphf" into the cleaning that way. Read more
I use these for getting into tight spots on my guns and for adding a fine film of grease along the rails. They work pretty well for these purposes. So far I have not had any problems with lint or the cotton head unraveling. The only negative thing I could say about these is that the wood stem seems to be weakest right at near the tip. This is the point where they always seem to snap on me. Just a little care with angles and pressure and they are just fine. Read more
