Van Heusen Mens Dress Shirt Regular Fit Stain Shield Stretch

This is one of the most comforable shirts I've worn in a long time. The fit across my chest, waist, and shoulders is nearly perfect. I'm not built for a "slim" cut shirt (even without the "Dad gut" I've developed over the years), so I need the room. However, it's properly cut so that it is not baggy or poofy anywhere. Nice shirt, not entirely wrinkle free, but a clean fit. This is a nice cut shirt and I purchased in black, which is a deep black. It remains to be seen how it holds up to multiple washes, and the wrinkle free advertisement is as disappointing as anyone's other than JC Penny's Stafford Travel Shirts (who unfortunately stopped producing shirts in black.) I went looking around locally for a new dress shirt, and I was surprised at how hard it was to find a place that actually even carried them, and the few places I found were very expensive. I have a closet full of Van Heusen shirts. I know what size fits me. I can also take measurements to verify my sizing. I wear a 17.5 with 36/37 sleeves in regular fit... If you order Van Heusen on Amazon versus Macy's or JCPenney I don't think it's the same thing. None of the sizing matches. I can't even button the shirts close and I have the exact same shirts... The sleeves are wrong, the torso is wrong, and the materials are all way off from what you get elsewhere. Look for MADE IN INDONESIA if you want the nicer Van Heusen shirts. The ones made in INDIA or BANGLADESH do not fit. You want them with 5-6% elastane, not 1%. Avoid buying these shirts or you'll just be disappointed and have to return them. If you are skinny like a toothpick, you might be okay, but if you have an American-style body type heed my advice! Read more

I bought 2 of these shirts for my husband for work. He loves them. The fabric is great. They are true to size and have a little stretch so you have some room. I have washed several times so far, and they are not completely wrinkle free. I steam them after washing, which only takes a couple minutes and they look like brand new! I’m going to buy again because he wants a few more. Can’t find in local stores. Value for the money is great. Read more

I wear a 17 regular shirt. I ordered this shirt in that size. The neck fits well but it is tight in the chest and stomach. A shame as the material feels great. Read more
