Smells and tastes amazing! It’ll last me such a long time too since the bottles are so large. I also like to use a little as perfume through the day, and this brand is amazing for that. It doesn’t have a strong alcohol scent. You really only smell sweet vanilla. It’s so nice. Read more
I'd seen this product in the past at a Mexican market, but only tried it just a few years ago. The very low price point made me doubt it's quality. It isn't bad. I like to use this product in place of pricier 100% pure vanilla extract in iced coffee drinks and chocolate flavored baked goods because my family's collective palate can't tell the difference. We'd been using Kirkland and McCormick brand. Why pay the premium if the result is just marginally better by our standards? I know about the extensive taste testing by reputable sources, and I agree to some extent. There are many cases when the genuine product is better, but it's good enough for our family. We still keep pure extract, but it's used far less frequently. Mainly for ice cream/custard base recipes. At the end of the day, there are more important things we would rather spend money on. Good value for vanilla flavoring. I'm excited to try it. I use so much vanilla extract making homemade coffee creamer. But I think this product will work just fine. I tasted it & it has a good flavor on its own so I know it'll be good in something. Read more
