Flawlessly carved Buddha pendant on a beautifully beaded glass necklace. From my photos you can hardly tell which was the back and which was the front of the Buddha. I sure am hoping this is authentic obsidian. I could detect no mold lines, so I'm assuming it is. My only worry is the hole at the top of Buddha is awfully close to the edge. Going to be very careful with where and how I use this piece. I wish there were an english translation of the bead above the Buddha. I would love to know what it says. Overall, glass or true obsidian, I found this 25", beautifully beaded necklace on fabric cord, to be well worth the price. Read more

Beautiful tiger's eye necklace. The polished stone is large and set in a minimal silver frame. I love the snake detail clasp that is attached to the top. It makes the stone an eye catching statement piece. The size of the entire setting is adequate for a medium sized person. I can't tell you with certainty that this is indeed hand carved obsidian. It could be molded glass for all I know. What I CAN tell you is that this is beautiful! This tiger necklace comes in an attractive gift box making it suitable for gift giving. The actual color of the tiger pendant is difficult to capture in a photo. Mine is dark, almost black, with deep blue green iridescent colors that flash through, almost like tiger eye stone. The cord it comes on isn't anything special, but is adjustable and functional. It slips easily over the head, and the cord can be pulled shorter if you want a choker style necklace... you'd just have the extra cord hanging down the back of your neck. I might change out this cord for something leather, or natural stone beads to better enhance this necklace. I am pleased with this necklace. It has an earthy, natural look. I would recommend this.
