I used the manual Varidesk at work for years and recently decided to purchase the electric version for my home office. I am soo pleased with this product! It raises and lowers smoothly and quietly. The spacing allows me to set a laptop and a portable screen (SideTrak-another great Amazon purchase!) on one shelf and a wireless keyboard and mouse on the lower shelf. It can hold an arm for a larger monitor, but I didn’t need that. Installation was a breeze. You just need a Phillips screwdriver. It get 5 stars for me. I wish there was space for a notepad b/c online meetings require that, but being able to stand and move when working for 7+ hours is a great benefit to me. I also bought the Topo Comfort mat, which provides cushioning for my feet. The only thing I had to do was to push my desk back to create more space b/c the Varidesk does move forward abt 6 in and buy a desk mat to prevent scratches. My desk chair has to be moved to the side because of the configuration of my work space. I am very pleased and wish I had made this purchase years ago! Read more
