i really needed a baker’s rack with a power strip, and this one perfectly met my needs: there are 4 outlets, and a shut-off switch on the side of the baker’s rack! it’s great, because the cords on everything are made so darn short now, it’s impossible to plug them into a typical low outlet. i really like the little pull-out mesh drawer, and keep onions and avocados in it. the shelves are ample enough that i was able to completely clear my kitchen counter (precious real estate) of my baking containers. i also have my stand mixer and baking stones on one of the lower shelves. i am very, very pleased with my purchase; it took me months to decide on which rack i was going to get, and i’m very happy with my decision. assembly was kind of difficult, as it allows for the builder to choose on which side of the rack to put the drawer and outlet bar (hence the versatility); additionally, the directions came in pictures only, no words included. once clarified, it was relatively easy to assemble. i’m glad i took my time making my decision, because not only did i get both what i wanted and needed, but i was able to get it for a great price. it’s beautiful, looks great, and does the job. Everything was super easy to assemble and it looks great. The height is perfect for kitchen life. The build quality is also great. I do wish the shelves had a lip on the back to stop me from pushing absolute everything I put up there onto the floor below, it that’s more a me thing. The adjustable shelves make organizing things a snap. Like I said before, I think the top shelves could use a lip or a tiny metal bar (like the area for the s hooks) and I think the electrical outlet could be better placed (lesson learned for me!). Having it on the side means you can plug in one thing on the main shelf and one thing below it. Anyone above 5 foot tall is probably not going to like to bend over that much for use. It’s not enough space for anything but a microwave (maybe a normal coffee maker too). Everything that opens from the top won’t fit in the area. I ended up using an extension cord (industrial grade), which isn’t ideal for appliances that put out so much energy, but I haven’t had any issues yet (typically if you have an extension cord that’s larger than your cord, you’re okay. If it’s smaller, it will probably melt, and cause big sad). Anyways here’s a picture of it for me! You can see a tiny bow in the top shelf. I don’t normally keep can goods stacked up like that. Cute kitchen stand! We use it for storage. It was easy to build and fits well in the corner we have it in. Be sure to look at the measurements.
