VASCHY School Backpack for Men and Women Unisex Vintage Water Resistant Casual Daypack Rucksack Bookbag for College Fits

I have a bit of a habit of buying backpacks and then not using them, mostly bc none were the right size to replace my beloved but very worn out Jansport (I bought it about 20 years ago!). This bag had similar measurements, but more usable pockets and a way cooler look, so I ordered one. I love it! It is the perfect bag! I was worried the side pouches were too small, but they actually fit a regular water bottle just fine and are perfect for an umbrella or my folding cane (they are deeper than the usual side pockets so the cane doesn't fall out!). I even get compliments from folks at work. The final test? The fabric is waaaay nicer than I thought it would be - it is kind of slick, but not in a satiny or nylon/windbreaker way, more in the way a seatbelt is slick. I ordered several backpacks to try. I teach high school and needed to transition from heavy totes to a backpack to help distribute the weight. This backpack is amazing! It has all the perfect pockets plus a few I didn't even realize it had. they're in the perfect places. The size is great...not huge but not too small. I can hold as much in this as my North Face Recon but without the bulky feel. The fabric feels sooo smooth and great. It's kind of slick which I guess may be the water resistance. Light weight, durable, just perfect! Specifics about the pictures... Front of bag Front pocket open with 2 pockets under flap - one open, one zipped Inside of bag showing how much space is left above the large 5 subject notebook. Easily holds much more. Inside main compartment front has additional organizational pockets Inside main compartment to show how much space is still available behind the notebook Laptop/tablet padded pocket - I keep both my macbook and my ipad in there Zipper pocket behind the padded laptop pocket Back of backpack - durable, comfortable straps and deep hidden zipper pocket. 2 side pockets on the outside - will fit a regular water bottle or a tall slimmer bottle like a Swell or HydroFlask One thing I want to point out...a lot of these style bags with the front snaps snap upside down. That was weird to me. Several I purchased and sent back had snaps on the flap so you had to snap them back or it looked weird. This one has the snap on the pocket so if you leave it unsnapped, it still looks snapped. Even better, these snaps are magnetic so when you lower the flap, it pretty much connects them anyway where other ones have regular snaps instead of magnetic. Might seem like a minor thing but it's definitely more functional the way this bag is! I did have a minor issue. One of the magnetic snaps on the front pocket snaps but doesn't stay snapped. I emailed the company just to ask if there was a way I could fix it and without hesitation, they sent me a new one. Excellent customer service! I highly recommend this bag. I'm a little disappointed there aren't more YouTube videos of it or more mention of it on backpack lists. This one definitely deserves a top spot on those lists or reviews!!! I get so many compliments on this backpack! It is cute, easy to load up, and fits my laptop. I have been using it for about a semester and a half in college, and it has held up very nicely! I don't see any loose stitching/holes/bad wear patterns and there is virtually no graphite/ink staining on the inside which I was worried about as it is a light cream color. The front also has a large area that I can put pins on where the backings are protected from getting knocked off when I put things into my backpack. The wallet/phone pocket is also very handy and is reachable when you are wearing the bag. Read more

I'm a new college student, and I have a yellow and grey color scheme in my dorm room. Long story short, I'm a thorough person and want my color scheme to extend to my day to day life (because I honestly love the colors). The first backpack I ordered from a different company was sent and it was this ugly orangey-yellow color with grey and white stripes. I immediately returned it and used the refund money to purchase this backpack... and I am SO glad I did! This yellow is a sunshine-tinted yellow and matches my room perfectly! It's also big and roomy (I think I got the medium size) and fits my 13" Macbook with ease! I especially love the security pocket which lets me feel safe about keeping my ID and phone close to me in case of emergencies! I was also able to fit a 3 subject spiral notebook, a thick hardbound notebook, a large planner, a textbook, and my wallet in the main pocket, along with my laptop and multiple pens and chargers. The padded straps were easy on my shoulders, and I didn't mind carrying this backpack around, unlike high school (where my backpack was at lease 40 pounds). I am a third year in college and this backpack has certainly met my demands as an overnight bag, a school bag, and a textbook bag. I can fit three 700-page textbooks in the main compartment if I really try, and although the Amazon product tag is for a 15" laptop, I am able to fit my 17" laptop in the laptop compartment with a snug fit. I also bought this backpack last year and it has held up well, despite the aforementioned somewhat strenuous use. The pouch pocket on the outside with the two buckle down straps is zippered as well as strapped down. The pocket on the inside also zippers closed with various different pockets that could be used for school supplies. I have spilled coffee (hot and cold) on this backpack as well as an entire water bottle, but nothing has stained and it air dried well. I have the backpack in yellow. Read more

As an incoming senior in highschool Inwanted a bag that looked cute and had enough pockets for my books, stationary, etc. When I first saw this bag I was skeptical, I have never had a square bag before, will it work well? This bag is amazing, it has a great size, texture, and color. All the pockets are in a perfect spot where you can reach in a grab what you need quickly. I can't wait to use it for school!!! Read more
