This is one of those items you don't know you need until you get it. I have become a person of a certain age that needs a pill organizer for all my supplements and meds. I love the standard daily organizers and this one takes them to a whole new level. As a frequent traveler, this is a sanity saver. The slots snap closed very securely and the outer metal case creates a spill free environment! No more opening my bag to discover an open container and pills everywhere. The slide out piece is easy to pull in and out and once it is inserted in the case it doesn't slide out and the caps all stay closed. I'm able to use this for 2 weeks of pills, making it ideal for travel. I don't need to separate my pills into AM/PM so I just fill it with 2 weeks worth. All the pieces are well made and excellent quality. There's a small section to put a preservative pack. I'm not sure how effective that is since the individual compartments are sealed and not connected via any airflow. Nice idea, but not quite thought out. I don't follow the 'days of the week' and just work my way down the row so it doesn't bother me that they aren't in my logical order. This pill organizer arrives in a really nice box that can be used if giving as a gift to a family member. The product page photo makes this item look smaller than it actually is in person however it is a great item for carrying your medication or supplements you may need. The case is made out of high quality metal and has a silicone pull on one end to easily slide the top to access the pill compartments. Inside looks similar a regular plastic pill box with the days of the week and am/pm for each day. The pill holder is also very nice quality and each section closes securely. At the very bottom of the organizer is 2 mini sections which is used to put desiccant in (see pic #4). It is to keep moisture out of the pill compartment. They provide you with 4 packets to last for a while. This organizer has a really pleasing aesthetic and I like that no one knows if you are carrying your medication with you unless you tell them. It’s great for travel and the fact that it is encased keeps the lids closed and your pills from accidentally falling out. Overall, I highly recommend this item if you need to organize your medication and/or supplements.
