The media could not be loaded. When I got the masticating juicer and couldn’t wait to put it together to make some celery-cucumber-apple juice. I washed all the veggies and chopped them into 1-2 inch pieces before popping them into the juicer. One thing I really love about this juicer is that it makes super fresh and smooth juice. Plus, the pulp comes out super dry, which means it’s getting every last drop of juice out. Noise? Well, I guess it depends on the person, but I don’t think it’s too loud. Cleaning it is a breeze. The little stiff-bristle brush that comes with it does a great job cleaning the metal strainer. I’ve only used it twice so far, so I can’t say much about how long it’ll last. But I hope it lasts. Excellent and prompt customer service. I bought this juicer in June and it stopped working on September 1st. Lufvebut replaced it immediately. My new juicer arrived on September 4th. I really do like this juicer. It is able to juice leafy vegetables and herbs (I.e., spinach, kale, parsley, etc.) better than centrifugal juicers as well as other masticating juicers that are more expensive. The media could not be loaded. We have used this juicer probably 10 different times now. Everything from kale, to watermelon. It works very well. Some stuff definitely has to be peeled and the machine does have to be cleaned out after about 15/20 minutes of juicing. Very well made, easy to use and clean and a pleasure to look at on my countertop. One tip though when making wheatgrass juice. I found that the 4"x4" "single serving" flats that the health food store sells for $2.50 didn't even make 1 ounce of juice. So, what I did was use a few celery stalks to push the grass through. The result is a delicious combo of celery/wheatgrass juice. Also, I put the harvested flat outside on my deck and watered it with distilled water and it grew back! So, I could harvest it again, and possibly 3X. So, that makes the $2.50 cost of the flat a lot more reasonable. Read more

We mostly use this for juicing fresh turmeric, and fresh ginger. These items are very difficult to get the juice out of. This machine works really well although I used it to juice other fruits and it’s very simple to juice anything. Read more
