This is a great utility table desk for the money. The top looks surprisingly good and is very heavy. I’m a woodworker and this feels as heavy or heavier than a similarly sized piece of MDF, if that helps. The edge banding looks just okay and I’m not sure how durable it is, but darn that top looks nice! The fit and finish of the legs is great as well. The bottom of the table top is fitted with threaded inserts and the holes for attaching the controller are pre drilled, making installation almost fool proof with little to no risk of tear out. And the dimensions of this table make it even more unique. Those four extra inches of depth make a world of difference. The top goes up and down with ease and is even and smooth. It might be a little noisy when it moves, but unless you’re constantly moving the top up and down this isn’t an issue. With all the threaded inserts in the top and the sturdy, heavy legs, once built this table isn’t going anywhere. And that’s the only downside of this table, if in fact It is a downside as this table is heavy! One person can wrangle the shipping box but it is a two-man lift. I took it apart downstairs and made three trips do get the pieces and parts to my upstairs office. But one person can easily put this together. Once put together, you could probably slide this to its destination but I enlisted my son to help me lift it and put it where it needed to go. The only thing I don’t understand is the economics of shipping this table. Did I mention it’s heavy? It would easily cost over $100 to ship this box if you or I had to do it. Okay, so far, this desk is pretty dope. The motor works fine. Its a single motor on one side, but feels solid. Love the size, but thats the easy part- finding the right size. I knew I needed 63", but the 28" front to back is... 🤌 The desk top itself is nothing special. Its maybe an inch thick or so. Basically like every other desk in this range. In the price range between 100 and 200 dollars, most of the desks seem yo be nearly the same quality. Idk about them, but I chose this one because it was priced more than half off. At the price, its pretty great. Im really happy with it. I do have a separate piece of furniture that I got for my PC to sit on. I dont know if Id want to put my PC on it, but its a heavy, chunky boy. It was super easy to put together, and the packaging wasnt excessive. Everything was labeled to make it as simple as possible. Not a fan of the fake wood but its not too ugly. I like the desk but I am leaving 2 stars because it came damaged and that is not okay.
