This Veken Stainless Steel Cat Water Fountain is easily one of the best pet products I’ve ever purchased! My kitten absolutely loved it from the moment I set it up. The design is beautiful, the stainless steel is sleek and hygienic, and the included silicone mat keeps everything tidy and in place—no splashes or mess on my floor. The flower attachment is such a clever feature—it creates multiple drinking areas, which my kitten adored. He could choose between the bubbling top, flowing streams, or the gentle pool below. I noticed right away that he was drinking more water and staying much better hydrated, which gave me great peace of mind as a pet owner. The fountain also runs quietly, and I really appreciated that it came with extra filters and sponges—a thoughtful touch that shows how much the company understands pet parents’ needs. Great fountain. I've had mine for just over a year, and it is only just now on its last legs, which I have found is the average lifespan of a pump-powered fountain. Easy to clean, goes right in the dishwasher, and comes out sparkling! I wish the suction cups on the pump were a bit stronger, as the pump tends to slide a bit between filling the base and putting the top back on, which leads to me having to put my hand in the water to reposition the pump again. With two cats, I was refilling it once every 1.5-2 weeks, and with 4 cats, I was refilling it every 1-1.5 weeks. Nice and quiet, and you can turn the light off if that bothers you. I will warn you, if your cats are like mine and get very upset if it has been empty for all of 2 minutes, even if you aren't home, it is easy for them to knock over the fountain and spill the leftover water everywhere. Otherwise, it doesn't make a huge mess. 10/10 highly recommend, and if I can find a replacement pump for this fountain, I will get one. Read more

First, the pump on this fountain is excellent and virtually silent. I knew that going into this purchase because I bought the identical pump separately as a replacement for another fountain. That was the reason I decided to buy this fountain from Venken. However I don't think the rest of the fountain quite lives up to the quality of the pump. I do like that it's primarily stainless steel, however the stainless steel is thin and feels a bit flimsy as compared to other stainless steel body fountains I've used. As someone who's kind of clumsy it raises concerns about denting. However, I love that the fountain flower is heavy duty stainless steel and has six streams vs. the hard plastic flower with just four streams that I've been accustomed to. And I know that many people people will appreciate the switch on the pump's cord that allows you to turn off the blue LED light. As for cleaning, the design makes the fountain very easy to quickly disassemble, thoroughly clean and reassemble it. Besides knowing the pump is great, I went for this fountain because it has more stainless steel components than the fountain I was using. Unfortunately, the stainless steel under-tray makes this fountain a great deal noisier than one with a hard plastic under-tray. I'm not generally bothered by the sound of water and don't have any expections that flowing water, especially if it's hitting metal, can or should be completely silent, but since the main fountain lives only a foot from the head of my bed, I sadly had to keep the original fountain with the plastic under-tray in my bedroom. I can't comment on the duration of the battery life / charge duration because I choose to use cat fountains as plug-in electrical devices. Update: a shout-out to the manufacturer who took the time to respond to the criticisms in my review. Cats love this fountain! There's several petals to drink from or the center. It's holds plenty of water. I've had 3 previous fountains and I found them harder to clean than this one.
