This is my second pair of Tifosi glasses. The first had the polychromatic lense that never really worked, but stayed a barely dark version of clear. I still liked them a lot and of the style has been discontinued and not new lenses are available for them. I bought this pair of Veloce model as a replacement and have been very happy with them. The shape fits my face very well and offer me good protection. The quality seems to be as good or better than more expensive brands that I have flirted with. I find them to be put on an forget comfortable. I am pretty careful with my eyewear and have not had any issue with this pair of my previous pair of Tifosis with respect to scratching. Fice star rating for me and an easy one. Read more
Colors not luminescent.....👎—November 12, 2024
I have owned at least a half dozen pair of Tifosi sun glasses the past 10 years. This frame cost a little more than my previous pair of Tifosi, but I am very impressed with the quality and glare protection of these glasses. I initially thought the dark grey lenses would distort colors, and I was ready to return the glasses before wearing them. I wore the frames during mid day with extremely bright conditions, and I can't believe how well the lenses block UV rays and have little, if any, color distortion! I highly recommend this Tifosi frame for anyone seeking UV protection for golf, fishing, tennis, or casual wear. I was initially worried that the darker lenses would cause color and depth distortion for golf, but the clarity actually enhances surrounding features...✌️👍😎 Read more

I was looking for a pair of cycling glasses to wear from early evening into dusk. These are excellent for that purpose. While they do not get dark enough for bright sunlight, they are described as night lenses and they are perfect for that. At their darkest, they turn a light gray and and at their lightest, they are nearly clear. Great for late day sun into dusk for spring and fall evening riding. Very comfortable and nice fit for a smaller face/head and for women. Crystal clear frame is very nice - not a heavy overwhelming look that some frames have. Still trying to get the bendable arms adjusted to the right fit and angle, but I'll get them there over time so that they fit just right. Read more

I am a big fan of Tifosi. I have multiple pairs of their glasses because they fit me well, and I sometimes have trouble getting a good, close fit because the bridge of my nose is not a skinny one. Sometimes other frames will ride too high, or sit too far from my face, which is a problem with shooting glasses, you want a good fit without large openings to protect your eyes. These tactical safety glasses come with three interchangeable lenses. A darker, tinted set for sunny, bright days. A reddish colored set that works really well on darker, overcast days. And a clear set for indoor or night shooting. All three sets carry the proper ANSI codes for protection. Changing the lenses are really easy and quick too. They are also the most optically clear glasses I have worn. Clarity is a huge deal for me as any imperfections in the lenses or coatings really bother me. Once I see an imperfection, I have a habit of always realizing its there when I wear the glasses. Yes, sometimes its very slight, but it annoys me. All of my Tifosis are very clear with no imperfections that I can see. While I am very happy with the protection they offer, I am really happy that they look cool too. I wear a set as sunglasses on a regular basis. They offer great sunlight protection while looking good! Read more

I use these for cycling. I usually cycle early in the morning so it's not very bright outside. These come with the clear lens which gradually gets darker as the day goes by. The change is so gradual that you do not notice it. They do not fog up and fit snuggly while not being too tight. I like the fact that it has an adjustable nose pad as well as temple arms. --UPDATE-- So good that I got a second pair with the orange lens since the sun is coming up earlier. The orange lens is great for enhancing details around you and the lens darkens to brown which is dark enough even for bright sunny days. Tifosi Direct sells just the lens but at $50 a pop, it's a no-brainer to not buy the whole sunglasses from Amazon for the same price (With coupon code). Saves me the hassle of swapping lenses now. At $50 each, clear+orange (with coupon code) it was still cheaper for me two buy two pairs of these sunglasses as opposed to other options (Oakley, Smith Optics, Rudy Project, etc.) Read more

I ordered one pair based on reviews. Now I am ordering 2 pair. They fit well and were excellent on the pickleball court. I was particularly pleased that they do not fog up. Read more

Expensive, but I expect that for these kind of shades. I had a set that had 3 lenses to fit one frame (clear, ping, dark), and the nose-piece went missing out one side of the frame. I had them for years and usually just for cycling, and the lenses of the ones I wear most (pink) wear showing scratches that were starting to become obvious anyway. So I picked these out to try this sun-altering technology. I usually am on my bike in the early AM so the clear or pink are what I wear most. These are perfect for that - now I don't have to think about the sunlight hours when choosing my frames, I can just grab and go, and they work throughout. Awesome. I also wear them running when I do triathlons, keeping them on after the bike, and unfortunately these don't stay on my face when I run. I have a prominent nose, yet these slide up and the lenses are literally against my eyelashes when I run. Sad. I've done two races and same thing both times. Uncomfortable. I just compared them with my old ones and see that the nose pieces on these ones are rather wide, so while they feel like they sit on my nose, I can easily push the frame up with a finger whereas my older ones (diff brand) are snug on my bridge and don't move.
