VENALISA 2 Pcs 15ml Gel Nail Ploish Base and Top Coat Set No Wipe High Gloss Long Lasting

I had used Gelish polishes, including their base and top coat for many years. The last time I purchased a set, I was extremely disappointed. My nails would chip right away, even though I did a thorough nail prep. I finally started to look for another product, but had my doubts. I recently purchased the Venalisa Base Coat and Top Coat and used it last week for the first time. WOW - I am amazed with the product. They are in full size bottlers and go on very smoothly. Using an LED lamp for 60 seconds for each coat, the results were awesome. The shine is wonderful and the coverage perfect and there is no sticky residue to wipe off after using the top coat. I don't know how the removal will be, but all I can say is that this is a reliable quality product that I highly recommend and worth the price. Read more

I’m a baker by profession, which means I work with my hands and they get pretty banged around on a daily basis. I recently took up doing dip powder manicures at home as a hobby and my job puts my nails up against all the elements: heat, cold, sharp objects, heavy lifting, lots of hand washing. All of the worst conditions for keeping a long lasting manicure. I bought this base/top coat set (based on their reputation for durability) along with a few other brands (including Modelones) trying to find my personal preference. Cons: The Venalisa set was on the higher end of the price point of all the brands I’ve tried (maybe twice as expensive as the Modelones set I purchased depending on the current deals available. Also the Venalisa brand goes on thickly unless you’re very mindful of your application. On the other hand… Pros: with the right prep and attention to application and curing, this brand goes on crystal clear with a high polish shine (think cut crystal sparkling compared to more basic glass like shine of some of the other brands I’ve tried). And it sets rock hard. This top coat stands up to 3-4 weeks of constant stress with no dulling of the shine, no chips or peeling. Worth every penny, the best hands down! 💅 Read more

Base coat dries tacky, needs a wipe with a lint free wipe and rubbing alcohol. The top coat seems a bit runny and tends to flood my cuticle area. I'm still fairly new to gel products, so it's too early to tell if it's a me problem or a product problem. Just something to consider. The glossiness is great though. Read more
