It's a cute watch and seems to work well, but the programming is complicated and the instructions are not super clear. The 1-page instruction pamphlet clearly states that you can toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour modes, but gives NO instructions on how to do that. It came set to 24-hour mode so I had to figure out how to change it to 12-hour mode. Thanks to another review on here, I finally figured it out. When you are setting the hour, you press the D key continuously until you get the correct hour. If you keep pressing the D key, you will find that it cycles between 12 hour mode and 24 hour mode (i.e. 1-12 AM, 1-12 PM, then 1-12 AM, 11-24 PM, and back to 1-12 AM again). I got three different ones for my daughters. They all loved the design and style. However, since I'm the one that opened and set the watches up, I have a different perspective on them. First, poor quality control. The first watch I opened had no instructions at all, was set to military time and had the alarm on. I suspected it was a recycled return or someone goofed in the factory. The next two had instructions which I was glad to see. Next, the watch settings are a little too complicated for the average person. To get the alarm to turn off, the time/date/day programmed and the alarm turned off it took about 10 mins and a lot of referring to the instructions. Every little thing you need to change winds up being something like: Press B 3 times, then press C once. Then wait 2 seconds and Press A and B at the same time. Then Press D. Like...give me a break! In the end, the kids are wearing them and getting used to the time concept so that's cool. And for the price, it's pretty decent. Three stars from me. Good, but could be better. Read more

I bought 2 watches and one lights up blue and the other purple. This is not a big deal, but just a heads up in case your little one expects something else. My daughter and niece loved their watches and they are so easy for them to use. The alarm isn't too loud when set up and the numbers are clear to see. My daughter is now an expert at telling time and she loves the look and feel of the watch. Read more
