VENOULT Detachable Wallet Case for iPhone Buesiness Style 17 Pro Max 4 Card Holder Folio Cover Man or

So I gave up my iPhone 13 Pro Max and got the new 16 Pro Max and needed a new detachable wallet case. I’ve only used the Otterbox Folio cases over the years which I loved with all my iPhones but unfortunately or in this “case” fortunately Otterbox hasn’t released or I was not able to find their Folio wallet case for the new iPhone, so I shopped around and decided to give this brand a try. I have to say this is by far a better version of the Folio, from the feel of the leather to the closure and fit. The durability is top notch. The iPhone is a perfect snug fit. All buttons are lined properly including the new camera button which is easy to use in this case. The detachable case has a secure hold but not too strong, unlike the Folio if you open it by just holding the cover your phone will fall out 7 out of 10 times, just keep that in mind. Having 4 card slots compared to the 3 of my last is a plus and a long pocket for cash, cards or receipts is nice too. The looks and feel of this case is well worth the price, looks like I might be a new customer for future cases if this last the life of ever how long I have this phone like the Folio’s did. Ordered this color for me, Blue for my wife. We were so excited when they arrived. Leather was beautiful. Stitching perfect. Card slots perfect. And the magnet holding the phone in the case- not quite strong enough for our taste. We are sometimes rough and tumble phone handlers. After researching, I found that this is a universal problem for all manufacturers because of the much larger camera area. Because of it, magnets had to be moved, so as not to negatively impact the haptic function of the phone. So, stronger but repositioned magnets are still not quite getting it. IMO. For some, this is still a trade off worth making. If you are the careful sort, go for it. Because otherwise it’s an amazing case. For us, we decided to return it, and ditch the entire idea of “detachable” cases. Venoult reached out to me and happily refunded our money. They took the time to explain the engineering challenges every vendor is facing. I loved the leather so much, that I think I’m going to try their Slim Leather Case with really cool looking cutouts. I looked and can’t find it on Amazon (note to their reseller- you should offer it). On Venoult’s website it looks fantastic. So I’m gonna try it. I’ll update my review after receiving it. Bottom line: trust this company. They are very responsive, and their leather is great! UPDATE: We got the Slim Leather Case (direct from their website). Like the wallet case- excellent leather. High quality and excellent buy for my iPhone 16 Pro max. The case when removed from the "wallet" is still very sturdy and protective. It also has a very nice leather back when removed from leather wallet. It makes it easy to remove from wallet to take pics and videos with the wallet part flopping in the way of the lens. If you use these, you know what I am talking about. I will buy this again when I upgrade my phone because it will last until then. Read more

The VENOULT full-grain leather case looks and feels great — premium materials, nice stitching, and a sleek overall design. Unfortunately, the magnet that holds the inner phone case to the folio just isn’t strong enough. When the folio is opened, the internal phone shell slides and shifts too easily, which makes it feel like your phone could slip or fall out — not exactly reassuring when you’re holding a brand-new iPhone. Because of that, I decided to return it. If the magnetic connection were stronger and more secure, this would absolutely be a keeper.
