My wife likes to have some knee-high boots for when she wears dresses to church. Her black boots wore out last year, so she got these to replace them. She is 5'7" tall, so typically "knee-high" boots on her sit a few inches below her knee. These boots are one of the taller boots she has owned. When she sits, she feels the top of the boot hit the bottom of her leg. It does not bother her, but she's never had boots come that high on her before. Shorter people may find it a problem though. My wife's favorite features of the boot would be the roomy box toe. Many boots are way too narrow in the toe for her. These she really likes. She also likes the lower heel. She can't manage heels without a lot of discomfort and pain, so the low heel is perfect for her. The inside zippers both zip smoothly, making getting in and out of the boot simple. The faux leather has a nice finish to it, and the calve is wide, without being comically wide for smaller calves. Her biggest concern with the boot is the lack of traction on the soles. She almost slipped a time or two while wearing them, but after scuffing the bottom a couple of times in the parking lot, they seem to not be as slick. I'm impressed! I have generously sized calves and thighs, so most “regular” knee-high boots either stop halfway up the calf or require a 10-minute zipper wrestling match. The fact that these slid right on (even over thick leggings!) and still look sleek instead of stretched to the max is honestly rare. These are super comfy and keep a tailored shape while giving space where it's needed--That’s the holy grail combo for me! They give that sleek, slightly equestrian/“rich aunt who owns horses” energy, while still being modern with the square toe. I LOVE them!! Very versatile— these are also gonna look killer with skirts, and jeans. The height is spot-on/ knee-high for me-- 💯 what I wanted. They stop just below my knees, which I find to be most flattering on me. Also, the heel is only about 1–1.5 inches, so they are super walkable. These boots are unexpectedly nice quality for the price. I ordered a half size up from my usual size because boots tend to be too narrow in the calf for me. These fit well, not overly roomy in the toe, so I'm glad I did. I'm only 5'4" so these come to my knee. There is a very cushioned footbed, and it feels sturdy, like my feet don't slide around inside, so they're very comfortable for a dressier boot. Even though I don't mind a block heel, these flat-style heels are even better for comfort. The bottoms are not particularly slippery, but I'd scuff them up a bit if you're going to be out in the wet or ice, just to be safe. Appearance-wise, the artificial leather doesn't really look cheap. They remind me of a gogo boot from the 1960s but with a square toe. I saw other reviews comment that they have a retro look, and I agree, but they seem somewhat timeless. Read more

These boots look great and have plenty of room in the calf area, even over jeans. The ankle feels a bit stiff at first but should loosen up with wear. They fit true to size and have enough space for extra insoles if needed. My main complaint is the slick sole, which made me almost slip a few times today, both on carpet and tile. This is a nice pair of knee high boots. The calves are generously sized so if you have thick calves these are easy to get on and off. The toe box is also roomy and has ample space to wear several sock layers if you want.
