I have been looking for a nice ankle boots for a long time, and to be honest, when I received these boots, I wanted to return them because they look just Iike normal boots and I thought they are too small. However, after two days, I tried them again and I immediately canceled my refund request because they are awesome and pretty! 1. The size perfectly fits me: I am 37 ( US7 or 6.5 sometimes). But according to the recommended size, I should order 6. I was not sure about that as that sounded crazy, but I still order 6 like they recommended me. It turns out fit perfectly. At first, I thought they were too small becuase I even couldn't squeeze my feet in the shoes, and then I tried again two days later, found out I didn't zip down the shoes when I tried them. The zip facing out are fake zippers and the invisible zip facing inside are real zipper. I kept trying to zip down the outside ones and squeezed my feet for the first time. When I got them right second time, they fit perfectly. 2. They are very very very comfortable: probably the most comfortable boots I ever tried. As I mentioned easier, I have been looking for a ankle boots for a while. I don't mind spending more money as I believe a nice boots are worthy it. I'm 56 years old and have bunions, so it's difficult to find attractive boots that fit and can be worn all day. This is my 2nd pair of this same boot because I loved the first pair so much and I didn't want to wait too long in case they were discontinued. My 1st pair only has the zipper on the inside. The 2nd pair has a zipper on both dides. The fit is the same. The material breathes, so they are not too tight around the front of my foot. I also like how they look. I can wear them with jeans or dress pants and the heel is tall enough to look professional but short enough to be supportive. I wear these to work every day during the winter months. I'm a teacher so I stand and walk a lot on hard floors. My feet don't bother me in these at all. I love them! Above is what I wrote two years ago and I gave it 5 stars. Today I am back on here dropping a star. I have bern ordering this same boot every year for tge past 3 years but today when I received this year's boot I decided to return them. The leather is rough rather than smooth and the left boot is too tight and pinches even though the right is comfortable. They do not seem to be made as well as they used to be. And I just don't like how they feel. There is a "sandiness" to the texture. When I ordered them in the past they were smooth leather. They may still be leather, but they don't seem to be, anymore. New information. Please read. I heard back from the seller they were wonderful their customer service is exceptional. When I tried these on and walked around the house in them, they were comfortable however, today I wore them running errands and the longer I wore them the worst they got. The little pull on the back of the boot catches your pants making your pants leg stay up in the back. I’m not sure that they are leather, then definitely don’t feel like leather.
