I normally wear a size 9 medium, but I sized up to 9.5 so I could wear thick socks. These boots are a perfect fit and I love the square toe. I still have room to wiggle my toes and the fit across the top of my foot is not tight either. I did not have to add an insole since they are very soft and comfy. These 6.5 boots fit great in length and width and are actually comfortable to walk in. There is no pinching or squeezing, even with a thick sock. The low block heel is a good height, just enough but not too much. At their widest, my calves measure 15” and these boots are very snug. Nothing uncomfortable, but no leggings fit in between.
