I purchased the cream colored Featherweight puffy backpack from Vera Bradley and took it with me to London, and it ended up being the perfect travel backpack. It has a look that is classy but casual at the same time, making it easy to wear with everything. The weight was ideal, light enough to carry all day but still incredibly strong and well made. The size was perfect and very versatile. I could carry just a few essentials or pack it full, and it handled both without looking bulky or unattractive. Even with heavier items, it stayed comfortable and held its shape. Despite the light color, it did not get dirty at all, which was a pleasant surprise. The price was excellent for the quality. I absolutely love this backpack. I have never purchased a Vera Bradley product before but I can see why the brand is so well regarded. It is very well made and the style, with the large, open interior, will work wonderfully as a personal item carry-on. The size meets airline standards (at least AA) for under the seat & outer pocket will allow quick & easy access to items needed when going through security. Interior pockets help to keep smaller items organized. I typically use my personal bag to pack things I can’t do without should the unexpected happen (lost luggage). Medicines, personal grooming needs, jewelry & other valuables & maybe even a change of clothes, are things I typically pack. All in all, it’s a quality backpack which fits my needs exactly. Read more

This backpack is large and I love the way it functions! Rather than digging to the bottom, you can just unzip and see your things easily. Also love the hidden pocket and the space for a water bottle. Great design & I highly recommend. Read more
