I took this Vera Bradley Ripstop Sling Backpack with me on a full day at Disney, and it exceeded my expectations. The size is ideal for theme park use — it easily held my essentials (phone, wallet, sunscreen, snacks, sunglasses, autograph book, and a small water bottle) without feeling bulky or weighed down. The ripstop fabric was lightweight but durable, and didn’t show any wear from all the walking and rides. The multiple zippered compartments were a lifesaver for staying organized. I could grab my park tickets or snacks quickly without digging through everything. The adjustable strap made it comfortable to wear all day, even during long lines and through parades. I also appreciated that it stayed secure on my back during rides, and the fabric was simple to wipe clean when a little sunscreen rubbed on it. Overall, it’s stylish enough for everyday use but functional enough for a long day at Disney. This pretty backpack is sturdy, zippers never stick & washes well. Only complaint is the strap needs to be adjusted every so often. If I need to, I can carry I-Pad, Kindle, phone, billfold, water bottle, sunglasses, & cosmetic bag with room to spare. I use a cane so this bag makes walking with a cane less awkward. Read more

This bag is made of nylon/ripstop fabric and has an all-over pattern. The adjustable strap makes this work for a lot of different shapes/sizes. The bag has multiple pockets which are useful for storage (and losing items). In general, it is cute and functional if you like sling bags. This has a fairly large capacity, so other than carrying a laptop, it should hold most daily use items. A small tablet would fit inside the main compartment. Read more

Well made, but size did not work for me and the fabric was a slippery nylon, not the fabric of my previous VB string back pack which I had to retire after several years of good use. I wish VB would bring that style back. The string back pack was made of the original quilted cotton fabric and was easy to fold flat to put in suitcases for travel. When I got to my destination, it was often a handy item to pull out and load up to go on hikes or tours of the city with your hands-free. They don’t make that style anymore. The one I bought here on Amazon was slippery nylon making it not a good choice for my intended use fir travel snd touring and the straps and the body of the bag were too long for my stature.
