The Ulikebeauty Vera Gel has been a helpful companion to my at-home hair removal routine, providing decent soothing relief and supporting the overall treatment experience. As someone who uses IPL devices regularly, having a quality aftercare gel makes a noticeable difference in comfort and results. The gel works well for post-treatment care, providing immediate cooling relief after hair removal sessions. It absorbs relatively quickly without leaving a heavy, sticky residue, and the aloe vera formula feels gentle on sensitive skin. I've used it on both facial and body areas treated with my IPL device, and it helps reduce the mild redness and irritation that sometimes occurs. The consistency is pleasant - not too thick or too thin - making it easy to apply evenly across treated areas. The pump dispenser is convenient and hygienic, allowing for controlled application without contaminating the product. The gel also works decently as a general facial moisturizer between treatments. For hair removal device compatibility, it performs adequately. While it's not specifically formulated as a conductive gel for during-treatment use, it works fine as a pre-treatment prep and post-treatment soother. The formula doesn't seem to interfere with device effectiveness when used appropriately. However, the soothing effects are somewhat modest compared to higher-end aloe gels I've tried. While it helps, it's not dramatically more effective than quality drugstore alternatives at a fraction of the price. The fragrance, while mild, isn't necessary and might irritate very sensitive skin. The bottle size is reasonable for the price, though I go through it fairly quickly with regular use. A little goes a long way, but it's also VERY useful. Helped heal my skin after shaving and between use of the Ulike Air 10. If you're going to use the Ulike hair removal devices, I'd recommend using this product when you shave between using the Ulike device! Read more

This was offered as a free item when I purchased my hair removal device. The first time I used the device I only applied to one treated area immediately after treatment to see the difference. The treated area was sticky for a while (due to the gel) but other than that fine. The untreated area was a little irritated. After half an hour or so I went ahead and applied to the untreated area and it immediately felt better and no irritation about 15 - 20 minutes later. Would recommend this for anyone using a laser hair removal device or even for irritation from shaving. Read more

I ordered this gel to try it out, I’m not sure why it’s billed as for use after hair removal, as it seems similar to other aloe vera gels out there. It’s clear and unscented, and not at all sticky – it disappears right away. It definitely works to soothe irritated skin, however I can’t get past the price for such a small amount. It seems they are charging a hefty premium by marketing it for hair removal treatment. As a result, I’ll stick with my other brands, I wouldn’t order this again. Read more
