Nice mouse, has nice features. This is the second one I bought only because I accidentally broke the first one and I had it for a couple of years. It's basic with a few extra buttons and it's not little as compared to others (it fits in the palm of your hand. Read more

So after decades of gaming it finally happened and I got Tennis Elbow. If I use a mouse more than 15 minutes I start getting arm fatigue and the muscle at the top of my arm gets sore where it connects to my elbow. At first I tried one of those mice that have the grip sitting straight up. It helped a little, but after an hour my arm would still hurt. So I decided to give this mouse a try instead. From a google search it said it would help for my condition, and boy did it! I really feel no discomfort using this mouse! It tracks well enough, but I do wish there was more dpi settings. There is a dpi toggle that seems to give me 300 to 500 more dpi. I'm not totally sure. I have Windows mouse setting cranked all the way up and I have to use the toggle just to get close to what I was experiencing on my gaming mouse, and that's just for desktop usage. Now for gaming... This works for RTS, Mobos, Puzzles, Cards, ect. But I would recommend it for something like Doom or CS-GO. I'm not sure how fast it's sampling and Idk the dpi I'm running at. It would probably be okay for casual FPS, but anything that requires precision and speed... Just keep your gaming mouse handy for those occasions. Read more

I used an older Verbatim mouse for nearly two years, when it started break from everyday use, I looked to Verbatim for a good replacement. This mouse fits that bill almost perfectly. The color is great, the adjustable DPI is fantastic, the large pads on the bottom can turn any surface into a mouse pad, the dedicated windows button comes in handy way more than I thought it would, the battery indicator is a nice convenience my other Verbatim didn't have, and as an added bonus, this mouse comes with a pair of AA batteries to get you started. Where this mouse falls a little short is the way it feels in the hand, specifically the area for your ring and pinky finger. The thumb, index and middle finger each have their place, and they naturally rest where they should, but I find myself "clawing" with my ring and pinky fingers rather than comfortably resting like they should on a large ergonomic mouse. Going from one mouse shape to another obviously has its changes to get used to, but, I feel that if you can nail the rest of the design, even just widening the area as wide as the thumb rest it, would've solved the problem. Just simply not enough room. I would still recommend this mouse. I'll be using it for years to come. Read more

I've tried the J-Tech Digital (deluxe) vertical mouse, but it was tall. I adjusted to the vertical aspect easily, but I had to crank my wrist up high on the mouse, which defeated the purpose of it being ergonomic. The J-Tech mouse stood so tall, whenever I would close my desk, since it didnt fit under my desk, it would always fall off. I then tried the Etekcity Scroll M910 which very close to what I wanted. I liked the 60 degree angle, but the body of the mouse was too bulbous. I hold my mouse between my thumb and ring finger, so this mouse was a too wide, as it was designed to be held with between the thumb and pinky finger. Over all, the M910 just felt too large. Now this Verbatim 8-Button Deluxe is close to perfect. It has a nice angle to it, but unfortunately not nearly as much as the Etekcity M910. The design is reminiscent of Star Trek's Delta Flyer! Pros: Its not as bulbous as the Etekcity M910, so it fits neatly under my palm, while still allowing the butt of my palm and pinky finger to rest on the table. It has a nice narrow "waist" to it, so my thumb and ring finger slide naturally into place. It doesn't call for any button clicking to wake it from hibernation mode. Cons: The wheels is poorly designed. The wheel has rubber teeth, but only run down the center. Since the wheel is very flat, the edge of the wheel is all plastic so my finger often slips over the wheel. My fingers dont catch on the rubber unless I'm right on top of it, or I have to press hard on the plastic edge of the wheel. Eventually, I will open the mouse up and remove the "clicking" part of the wheel when spinning... so it spins freely. This should solve the issue. Screws to open the mouse seem to be under the sliding pads, so opening will be more difficult. Personal Cons: I don't care too much for the rubberized plastic parts of the mouse. After a while, hand sweat and hand grease turns the rubberized coating into sticky goo. Which will eventually need to be removed with some alcohol and a cloth. I wish the buttons were programmable. The X-Mouse software doesnt seem to have the option to program the 7th and 8th button. I dont know of any other software that tackles the 7th and 8th button. Conclusion: Great mouse with one minor issues. I'm not going to count my personal cons against this mouse, as they are just my personal preferences. The only negative point is the stubborn wheel that requires more attention to spin. I rate it 4.5 - 5 stars. Read more

Poor build. Replica of Logitech Performance MX. Nice size and layout, buttons work well and is comfortable. I have a problem with the mouse being flat on a surface. The glide pads on the underneath are not level. There is slight rocking each time the mouse button is pressed, a bit annoying. Read more

Great quality for the price. Quite comfortable. Functions smoothly. Love the matte finish and the smooth rubbery sides, neither leave fingerprint smudges as glossy plastics would. I don't find the Windows Start button very helpful, I never use it. I would prefer they had made it like my other mouse which brings up all the windows you have open and makes it easy to select. I use this mouse at work and always have AutoCAD, Bluebeam, excel, email, internet, and (3) windows explorer windows open at the same time, so it would be useful to be able to switch between programs easier. It is a third of the price as what I paid for my other mouse though. It does not have a program to customize the button layout, or I would change it. But the mouse is definitely worth the money, and I would recommend it to others. Read more
