Stretchy & Cute Denim Mini
This is a cute denim mini skirt. The material is a semi-coarse, thin, and stretchy denim. The fold over at the bottom lies perfectly flat, and there’s a durable metal button at the top, with a thick and wider zipper. My measurements are 32 inches in the waist, 45 inches in the hips, and I got this in a size L. The skirt is true to size, and has a snug fit. It’s stretchy and goes on easily, and hugs my waist, without feeling tight at the waistband— though it does slightly squeeze my tummy and create a small extra roll for me, which I’m not very fond of. The thin, stretchy fabric makes it slightly unforgiving in the front. I can see a bit of my lower belly outline, though the firmness of the denim in some areas keeps the skirt from fully conforming to the shape of my stomach. When worn with mild compression panties, that goes away entirely, so it’s not the biggest issue. The sides of the skirt grip my hips nicely, and the back is very flattering on my butt— though you’ll find this short if you have a large butt. The fold-over and back pockets cut right across the lower bottom of my cheeks, making the skirt sit very short on me. The hem comes just below my butt cheek (like really right where it ends), and I know my panties would be showing if I were to bend over. Even when I lower the skirt on my stomach it’s still too short in the back. I’m 4’11” and it hits my upper thighs in the front. I’ll have to wear tights with this to feel comfortable. Overall, I think that this is an adorable and comfortable skirt, that’s nicely constructed. I do recommend it, I’ll just have to personally make adjustments with styling to wear it confidently.
