Verdusa Womens High Waisted Satin Skirt Elegant Long Skirts

I have other colors of a similar style of skirt that I love wearing for work and I figured this would be no different. I do really like the style of this skirt and think it will be a versatile addition to my wardrobe. It does have a smooth texture and I find it pretty comfortable and of similar quality to my other satin skirts. One thing that is different about this skirt compared to others is the zipper closure. Typically, at least with my other skirts, it has a stretch waist band. I didn’t realize it would have a zip waist (my fault for not reading), but I do like that it sits flats as the stretch waist band is usually thick and can make my waist look bulky. The reason why I docked a star was the color did not look like the image. It seems more of a milk chocolate brown in real life (which I don’t mind) but the product image has a deeper gray brown shade. Not a huge deal to me but could be a dealbreaker for others. Read more

This arrived quickly and was well packaged, It is high waisted and fit me well- i got a medium and I am 5'7 and 150lbs. The material is a heavy satin not a slinky satin so in the images where it looks like it hangs in a concave drape likely that was made form fabric that was bias cut. This is not like that at all, in reality this skirt kind of sits like a triangle and doesnt drape the same way as shown. Also the skirt says HAND WASH only or DRY CLEAN only- but I will try washing and drying it to see if that helps at all and if it improves then I will update my review as I wouldnt wear it otherwise. It also had a long loose thread hanging off it that I had to tie off and snip. As it is I am giving it 3 stars because for $35.99 I think the material should be more slinky and drape better. I have bought satin scarves for much less that hang well and would make beautiful skirts so I feel like this is just a cheaper material not quite worthy of this price tag.
