I used this with one of the cursed 16" Macbook Pro "heat your office" models for about six months, and the stand is so solidly built there were days when I wanted to bash the $4000 Cupertino heat-sink to bits with it. Now I got a computer that isn't so infested with Jony Ive's mistaken notions of engineering, and I look forward to putting it in this stand.
