Vertx Mens Travail 2 0 Tactical Work Pants Utility with Pockets Lightweight Canvas

This is the second pair of Vertex pants I've purchased and I couldn't be more pleased. I love how they allow you to carry a sizable amount of gear discreetly and without looking like some sort of tacti-cool range ninja. They blend in beautifully. No one can tell the difference between these and any other standard pair of off the rack pants. They're also very well made providing comfort and durability. Decided to order a pair of these from Amazon since they are cheaper just to try them out. I prefer the original Travail pants because of how the front magazine pockets are situated. In these 2.0 pants they are angled, which does not feel good when you have a spare magazine or a flashlight in them. It also makes it difficult to utilize the rest of the pocket. These pants do fit a bit tighter and look nice, but they just don’t work out well for me. I’ll stick to the original Travail pants. Read more

I wanted to like them they seem like they was gonna be legit pants because of the pockets on the knees but you can put knees in the pockets and top pockets are almost unusable after a month the pants ripped at work and butt was showing. I was lifting a water heater at work and they ripped and the magazine pockets were different sizes the left side pocket was didn’t match the other side. These aren't too bad the fits pretty good Some of the pockets I'll probably never use I do like the front drop In pockets and the inside pocket knife pocket they are very comfortable and keep you relatively cool or warm depending. I wish they came in a darker color I don't think they're dark enough for me to be able to wear to work but we'll see. I like where the pockets are placed kind of right where my hand would freely hang I guess if that makes sense. Read more

The only reason these got 3 stars is because the size on these pants run really small. I normally wear a 34 in the waist and had to buy a 38 in the waist for the vertx brand pants and thats across the brand of pants from the travails to the phantoms. Otherwise they are awesome pants. This is my 4th pair of Vertx brand pants...the other three cargo style pants have been functioning and fitting perfect for last 4 years. I'd give the brand itself 4.5 stars. I picked this pair up on sale for a bargain price and am wondering if this is why? The inseam around the right knee area ripped by simply crouching down. I will say that these pants are designed well, cut well, and were my most comfortable pants, but if my replacement pair rip after one month again, I will have to reduce my review to one star. Update: yep! Same exact problem in exactly the same place. (The second photo is from a new exchanged pair of same VertX Travail pants). Can’t keep repeating the same behavior and expect a different result. I will expect a refund and likely avoid the brand from now on. Read more
